Custom Solutions for Small Businesses.

Today’s fast paced business environment demands that small and medium-sized companies work hard to stay competitive. One advantage smaller businesses have is their ability to react quickly to changes in the marketplace, responding to their customers’ needs! The last thing a growing business usually asks itself is, “Will my telephone system support my communication requirements - today and tomorrow?” Successful future communications begin with the voice/data platform you select today.

Businesses that don’t expect to stay small forever require a system that can grow with them. A building block approach allows for easy, cost effective expansion. Buying only what is needed today keeps the system affordable.

The Aspire S from NEC is a smaller version of the Aspire system. Intended for offices of less than 30 stations, Aspire S allows you to converge your voice and data network and enjoy the many advantages of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) while maintaining the many features you've come to expect from traditional digital/analog switching.

Aspire S lets your organization benefit from the potential cost-saving advantages of IP even if you’re not ready to migrate to 100% IP Telephony immediately. That’s because Aspire S gives you a choice: You can deploy traditional circuit-switched technology, VoIP, or a combination, all from one system! You have the freedom to adopt VoIP when and where you need it.

The Aspire S can be part of a multi-site Aspire network. Smaller remote offices can be connected by VoIP technology to the main office for ease of inter-company communications.

Multi Site Systems

Use the built in networking feature of the NEC Aspire and Aspire S to integrate multiple phone systems into a single virtual communication system. Each phone system becomes a node on the network that can communicate with any other phone system on the node. This will allow the phone system to communicate with each other and provide a rich set of common features to users at multiple sites. The result - more efficient and cost-effective teamwork.

This allowed users at remote sites to enjoy all the benefits of the telephone system, including industry-specific customized applications, even though they were not directly connected to a centrally located PBX.

Share common features such as:

Centralized Network Attendant:

Centralized Network Attendant allows multiple networked systems to share a single centralized attendant. This centralized attendant can receive calls from and transfer calls to any destination in any network node. Unanswered calls recall and route as if they were part of a single, much larger system.

Flexible Network Routing:

Users may place an intercom call or transfer a call to any extension at any location by simply dialing an extension number. The system analyzes each extension number received and determines how to route the call to its final destination.

Remote Workers/Home Office

With the escalating price of office space and the rising cost for transportation and parking, businesses are looking for ways to minimize space and reduce commuter impact. Working at home or in satellite offices is a viable solution to address these concerns. More companies are eliminating or, at least cutting down, on the expenses involved in operating large call centers or multiple offices in high-priced locations by extending their offices to suburbs and employee home offices.

NEC’s remote telephony solutions can provide access for remote offices and employee home offices to the enterprise’s common facilities, with little or no difference in the services provided to callers. The flexible home office has been proven to promote employee retention and allows for employees to apply commuter time to more productive work for their organization.

Remote employees can be added on-demand to their company’s call centers to take calls during peak hours, when a special promotion or event is going on generating higher call volumes than normal, or even during lunch breaks for the on-site call consultants.

Remote offices can be located in other cities and time zones to take calls after the other call centers have closed for the day. One call center can handle calls for the entire company after hours for repair, service or other problems. These remote offices allow access to lower cost of living communities and can tap areas of the country that have qualified employees with lower salary requirements, while simultaneously reducing office expenses.
